What an AI song generator does
A song generator takes a description or lyrics and produces a musical interpretation. You describe the direction; the result gives you vocals, melody, and an arrangement to listen to. Think of it as a way to explore a draft. You still decide whether the idea works and what you want to change.
Write a prompt with four useful details
Start with a scene, then describe the mood, the energy, and one or two musical choices. A genre alone leaves much of the idea unspecified.
BUILD A FIRST PROMPT
Story: a late train home
Mood: hopeful and reflective
Energy: relaxed, with a stronger chorus
Sound: warm guitar and light drums
Combine those details into a sentence: “A relaxed indie pop song about a late train home, warm guitar, light drums, and a hopeful chorus.” This is an example input, not an audio demonstration or a guarantee that the output will match every detail.
Try it in Tune Music
- Open Create and select Use Prompt.
- Paste your sentence into the prompt field.
- Choose or type your direction in Style of Music. You can leave optional choices unspecified when you want to explore.
- Start generation, then listen in your library. Note one thing you would keep and one thing you would change.
The AI song generator page shows the prompt screen and explains the creation flow. Generation needs an internet connection; subscription and credit options are shown in the app.
Compare one change at a time
If the result feels too busy, try a prompt with fewer instruments and a quieter mood. If the chorus feels flat, describe a clearer emotional lift. Avoid changing the story, style, pace, and vocal direction all at once: it becomes harder to know which change helped.
Example: make a vague idea more specific
First draft: “A happy song.”
More specific: “A bright acoustic pop song about reconnecting with an old friend, light percussion, and a chorus that feels welcoming.”
The second version gives the generator a scene and an arrangement to interpret. It also gives you a clearer standard for judging the result.
Choose the right starting point
If you already wrote the words, use Your Lyrics instead of asking a prompt to invent them. If you have a recorded voice reference, explore Your Voice. You do not need to use all three modes for a single idea.
Review your result before sharing
Listen to the full song, check the words, and keep a note of the prompt that produced a useful version. Save or share the result using the app’s controls. For public use, review the rights and terms relevant to your inputs and the intended use.
